Does anyone know of a source that makes enclosures for N+1 hot-swap power supplies? The enclosure would become part of a 4U 19" wide rack mountable equipment. It would be great if it can fit four power supply modules (but three would do as well.) It can't be an off the shelf supply since the input/output voltage, power requirements, and controls are somewhat unique. What I am looking for is an enclosure assembly with insertable module cages complete with latching hardware and possibly connectors in which I can fit my own custom power supply design.=20 Kinda like the power supplies on the Compaq Proliant 6400R. Here's a couple of pictures: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/10047_div/10047_div.html and http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/images/6400r.gif. The two modules seen on the front are the power supplies. They have a small sliding lever underneath the handle that you pull up to take out the power supply. If I can find a ready made enclosure, it'll save me the time to chalk up the mechanical design and have it made. Thanks, Shahid -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
