I have a problem with the editor. Sometimes, not always, if there is one character at the beginning of a line, and I delete it, several lines change their first character to a hollow square, followed by an uppercase N. The N writes over the genuine first character of these corrupted lines. Sometime, but mostly, if I backspace over a line, deleting as I go, the same thing happens when the last character left is deleted. It's a pain, as labels become unreadable or messy. It happens several times an hour, sometimes several times a minute, and it's getting hard to live with! The only cure is to save the window, close it, and open it again. There seems to be no detrimate to the program, it compiles, and runs, as usual. Anyone seen this? If not, I'll need to contact Mchip. Windows98, does it exactly the same on my two different PC's.
