I have suddenly encountered a problem running MPLAB 6.40 on my Toshiba
laptop under Win98se. It has previously run fine but now hangs with a
"Not Responding" condition while displaying the Microchip logo screen.

I've uninstalled MPLAB and reinstalled it with no change in symptoms.

Has anybody else seen this occur? Any ideas out there?
