A couple weeks ago, I had do do some house wiring so I threw the main
breaker on my panel.  In the course of my activities, I happend to look
at the meter and noticed I could still see it spinning, albeit very
slowly!  Is this normal?  It's an older (mechanical) style meter.  I've
done a some checking and it does seem that our bill runs a little higher
than most I've talked to with similar size homes and lifestyles.  ($130
in the summer, no A/C, 1 fridge, 2 freezers, electric range, electric hot
water heater, 2 adults & 2 kids under age three, about 1400 KWH)
