Right on time guys, I'll have to solve this problem next week. Looks like digikey has the 3M test clips, P/N 923655-08-ND for gold plated 8 pin http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/T041/0279.pdf for the catalog page. Looks like the gold contacts are less than a buck more than the tin.
