Overwelhing is an understatement. I would hate to be a buyer for these houses meeting with manufacturers and trying to find something different to add to the catalog!! Having said that, I have used the Kingbright L934 series T-1 units. These are high efficiency, and look bright enough to burn your eyeballs out when on solid with a 100 ohm resistor on a PIC I/O pin.
