that would work. a couple of spare IO pins on the pic, set to output, and
the ability to control them from Xwisp. So long as they terminate in the
15way D, then it's trivial to add a "multi target" adaptor. Might end up
resulting in a need for a two layer board, which would add to the cost. Mind
you, if you're planning on going with USB for it, it seems likely that
you'll need to go DS anyway.
