Well - now that you mention it - yeah that would be perfect! Seriously - I don't mean to come off as wanting everything handed to me on a silver platter. I really don't expect anyone to actually write out such a description, but a pointer to a good book or maybe website would be ideal. Just for starters - I'd love to know where a 75Lxx works well vs. a zener vs. a switcher and what the trade-offs in cost/complexity/power are.
