Have you e-mailed Eagle regarding this?
If you have not done so, I would suggest contacting them via phone or e-mail
and make your wishlist known to them.
Most good companies are willing to listen to user-feedback, and implement
solutions for them.
Always make your wishlist known to the company of the product you use -- it
could become a reality.

I like to use the restaurant rule analogy:
If your food is bad, you *must* tell the manager, otherwise you do them (and
you) a disservice and they will never have a chance to fix the problem.
