Hm, if *all* 8 bits are inputs ?
I did not made that restriction...

And saying "most of the time" dosn't make the issue to
be non-existent. There *is* a read-modify-write issue
with the PICs and it can't hurt to know about it and
to understand when you should watch out for it.

And, thanks to the LATx SFR's, it's less of a problem
on the 18-series PICs...
