i think they mean any pin other than power.

if its like their dataflash the logic lines are 5v tollerent.

Hi all,

I'm looking into using a serial flash like the Atmel AT25F1024. In the
datasheet, they give the max. voltage on any pin as 7V, but all the specs
are for the recommended operating voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V.

Has anybody any experience with running these chips on 5V? Looks like it
should be possible.
