Hey guys. I have got a DVD player in my car with a standard TFT-TV (PAL) screen. Now I want to build a board computer for several reasons. This board computer needs a display and I thought it would be perfect to use the existing TFT screen and overlay any incoming video signal with a PIC generated video signal (OSD). Now what I need to know is, if someone knows a project that uses a PIC for OSD purpose with a RS232 or I2C interface as input and generates the PAL OSD output from this input. I've been searching the web for some days about that topic, but did only find commercial projects. I didn't even find something to learn from how to do it on my own. Any hints are appreciated!
