Hello all, Just thought I'd fill you in on the latest ebay scam, (at least its latest to me). My electronics club at school just sold a bunch of stuff (THANKS TO THOSE ON THE LIST WHO BID!!!) and one of the items was a huge lot of vacuum tubes of all types, sizes and ages. The final auction went for just shy of $900. The buyer was in Huntington Beach, came up and paid for it the day after the auction. Now I'm getting emails from other bidders that some guy with an AOL address is contacting them saying that the tubes did not sell after all and would they like them for $790 or $690 (depending upon the person). Checking the ebay search for that address comes up blank. So these people thinking they are getting a great deal, would be coming up a bit short. So far three of the bidders have contacted me, all I can do is say IT'S NOT ME! Scott -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
