> WEAR EYE PROTECTION. In the year (1993) that the cat died, both my children broke their ankles within a week of each other, and I broke my knee, broke my foot, caught the back of my pyjama coat on fire, and buried my ring under the skin of my ring-finger (all emergency-room trips as you might imagine) I also embedded a small thin splinter of steel in my eye. I WAS wearing eye protection and using a power tool (angle grinder?). The safety goggles had side screens with quite fine plastic mesh for ventillation. The small shard of steel apparently passed length ways through the screen and into my eye. Removed by doctor with no apparent harm done. I guess the moral is "wear seamless eye protection". The broken knee was on a rebounder frame at a gym where I went to get fit :-) Russell McMahon -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
