My sister's ex was an electrician, and his preferred method of determining if a wire was live was to give it a quick poke with his finger! then again he was the same guy who would walk up to a redback spider (one of the most, if not THE most venemous spider in the world) and squish it with his finger... He'd apparently been bitten so many times he was immune to it. If he saw a snake, he'd run for miles though! > > -----Original Message----- > > From: pic microcontroller discussion list > [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] > > On > > Behalf Of Robert Ussery > > Sent: 2004 Mar 04, Thu 10:21 > > To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU > > Subject: [OT:] More stupid electrical tricks... > > > > Hi all. > > I just thought I'd relate a pitiful yet funny incident that I just > > experienced. > > Yesterday, I was debugging a circuit hooked up to my computer and > powered > > from a 7AH 12V battery.
