I'll have to brush up my communications skills :-) That wasn't meant to be US bashing in any way, but rather a comment on human nature generally. I also wasn't referring to the troops who have been there - which may have been what the original poster meant. I suspect that many people, both in the US and elsewhere, really don't know where these places are located with any degree of certainty.
