I don't think you get 'vaporized Aluminum' in air. You get Aluminum oxide (burnt Al), which is saphire - pretty inert stuff. I think the Alzheimers/Al link has been discounted, although perhaps that's a xyz conspiracy due to the extremely widespread use of Al in US society. IIRC the original evidence was base on some Al found in diseased cells; there was never any particular sign how it got there...
