Hi, Folks! Synopsis: Can I install a CD-RW drive in a WinBlows '95 computer? Long Version: My mom's CD-ROM drive just died in her Win '95 Desktop, and she wants me to put a CD-RW drive that she found for cheap at Office-Max into it. I assume the IDE interface should be the same for the CD-RW as for a regular CD-ROM drive, but I wanted to check before she gets it that it will work properly. I realize that she probably won't be able to use the drive as a CD-RW with Win '95 - she just wants basic CD-ROM functionality. Any reasons why this shouldn't work? TIA! - Robert P.S. Please say it'll work - I want the old drive for parts :O) -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
