Well, at least I got the solenoid water valve. One never knows when that might come in handy. I am sure my wife thinks I am a bit odd for salvaging stuff like that, but those are the parts one uses in projects that may or may not turn out to have been worth the effort and wouldn't justify spending lots of money on new parts. If they work, great! If not, no great loss except for the time. The older I get, the pickier I get at what I save, but I do have that ham radio pack rat gene.
