It is supposed to nail down the very low-end market for the PIC, the use that I find appealing (PIC as replacements for glue logic and very simple tasks). It is a VERY smart move, one I will welcome, especially if it can be made in a super-small scale (SOT23-6 etc). I have an immediate 100K+ application for it. In my case, even OTP would be fine, because I can always develop on a larger 14-bit PIC device / ICD2. --Bob -- Replies: NOTE-Script, EXE,BAT and COM files will be rejected by server -------------- Bob Axtell PIC Hardware & Firmware Dev http://beam.to/baxtell 1-520-219-2363 -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
