Run FDTIUNIN.EXE (VCP drivers) or FTD2XXUN.EXE (D2XX drivers). Both can be found in the respective device driver folder when unpacked. -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] On Behalf Of Peter Crowcroft Sent: 01 March 2004 05:51 To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [PIC:] Uninstall Ftdi drivers from W XP system I have been using ftdi drivers R9012134.zip on my W XP system to program pic programmers with no problems (kits 128 149 and 150 of mine). But yesterday I tried to use a new Flash disk. It did not get recognized despite instant recognition on another XP system but without ftdi drivers on it. So I tried to uninstall the ftdi drivers. This has been a mess. Ftdi's only AN on the topic AN232-05 is for W2000. There is no remove Hardware in XP. So my question is does anyone know how to completely remove the ftdi drivers from my XP machine? thanks, regards, Peter Crowcroft DIY Electronics (HK) Ltd PO Box 88458, Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong Factory: voice 852-2304 2250 Fax: 852-2729 1400 M/F, 97 Fuk Wa Street, Sham Shui Po, HK Home: voice 852-2720 0255, 15F, 142 Kiu Kiang St. SSP Mobile: 6273 2049 Web: http://www.kitsrus.com Email: peterhk@kitsrus.com MSN: peter5998@hotmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------- -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
