In the area of universal programmers ie:"do-everything" eprom prom etc
are there any standouts with a very high bang for your buck?
this would be for engineering-low volumes as opposed to production.

I know this is a very broad question and am trying to get the person
to nail it down a bit better but a couple of recommended products with
their pricepoints and capabilities might help them/me focus

I tried the archive without success, probably my choice of phrase.
