Where could I find some good information on designing inductors and
transformers for switch mode power supplies? I want to wind my
transformers or inductors from scratch. For example, I have a bunch of #26
iron powder toroid cores from slaughtered PC power supplies. Are these
suitable for building inductors for buck and boost type switching
regulators?
