I'm still very new to Pic'n and I'm trying to write a 508A routine that
will take two input switches, UP and DOWN, to emulate a
Quadrature encoder on two output pins.. Why the 508A ?, I've got a
couple lying around.

This has to be simple enough, but I can't seem to get my head
around it.
I'm not looking for the actual code, just some pointers on the best
way to achieve it.
