Eric, I just got the LCD module working. I swapped the contrast and +5 pins,=20 so... connected PIN 3 to +5 volt and connected PIN 2 to contrast and adjust= ed the pin2 volts to be slightly below the 5V.=20 The LCD works fine now, I suspect that the contrast needed to be higher tha= n supply for some reason on this LCD who knows.
