I haven't found it anywhere cheaper than Maplin - as you say it's =A34.99= for 305 x 305mm (a foot square, in old money!) for one, but drops to =A34 each (inc.VAT) for ten. I was surpris= ed how far it goes - I bought one quite some time ago and still have over half of it left... a square foot of chi= ps is an awful lot of them!
