Michel, Here is a long shot - probably not the answer but worth checking out. A while back, I remember that someone had a similar problem with software that would not install and they were from France. The problem was that the particular software program expected decimal point (.) but the operating system was setup for comma (,) and it would not install. I can't remember if this was a Microchip program or something completely different. I looked through the inf file on my Win98 system and it's full of both commas and decimal points. Hopefully, someone else in France has installed this software sucessfully and can respond. Good luck!
