Does anyone have any info about programming this dandy little
chip?  I want to evaluate it for a project without having to buy
a half-dozen preprogrammed ones for experimentation, or the
$1000 programmer.

Melexis has told me that the programming algorithms aren't
proprietary, just a PITA to implement (their exact phrasing).
I haven't heard back from them yet, and I thought I'd send
out a little ping for info before I start squinting at and trying
to interpret the example waveform in the datasheet.  I'd
really like some hard numbers, if anyone has them.
