>At our peak we were adequate "C2" level dancers yeah, we got to be real proficient Plus level dancers, breaking into C1. At our peak we did four international conventions in as many weekends in a row. In '88 the first was the NZ National, held on the first weekend of June (Queens Birthday, NZ) second was the Australian National in Sydney, 2nd weekend of June (Australian Queens Birthday Weekend) third was at Brisbane Australia for Expo 88, 3rd weekend of June fourth was the American National at Anaheim, 4th weekend of June. We then went on to spend the rest of the next two months touring round the US. Got as far north as Yellowstone National Park, west to St Louis (great trip up the arch, and look down on the Mississippi with minimal water in it), down through St Joseph, Branson, into Texas, up to Colorado, down through Grand Canyon, finally ending up at San Diego for three weeks. Got around 14 states, drove about 10,000 miles. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
