Pretty much an open question (as Olin might say....) Specific coins....or any coins? Any coins is easy....Ir...breaks the beam if a coin passes by. Specific coins....almost needs a mechanical filter or an array of sensors (how big...compare..etc) Seems to me someone had taken one apart not long ago and was reverse engineering it? At least I think this has been discussed before, sometime in the last 6 or 7 years at least. >From: Gabriel Caffese >Reply-To: pic microcontroller discussion list >To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU >Subject: [EE]: Coin detector circuit >Date: Wed, 18 Feb 2004 23:01:22 -0300 > >Hello everyone, > > As my analog electronics is not very good, am looking for a simple >circuit for detecting coins. > Does anyone have a simple one ??? > > > Thanks in advance, > > Gabriel Caffese.- > >-- >http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different >ways.
