Philip, try TI AppNotes sluu064.pdf, slua016.pdf, slva102a.pdf, slva114.pdf, slva101.pdf . At the beginning of January they existed, I download them. Especially slua016.pdf, the examle were found interesting, although written in assembler for bq2018, but with PIC. bq2014 and bq2018 require the same handling as I know, which is more-or-less a 1-wire tyte interface. The example is definitely working, but you have to take care the clock freq, which is 4MHz for the given example. Counting the cycles can be easily adapted to other system clock. If you can't find the appnotes, I can send to your personal address. Cheers, Andras pilinyi.a@mail.powerstar.hu --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
