Hi all,

I recently bought some PIC 12C509A04/P08Q (Date codes 0221 and 0321) and
for some reason none of them have calibration code at addresses 0x03FE
- the location reads as 0x3FFF.

My programmer is fine - it reads other 12C509A's I have programmed in
the past.  I have also tried another programmer on another computer with
the same end result.

As I am using the internal 4MHz oscillator and the timing on the part is
somewhat crucial, this situation has me concerned.

I have Googled around both the Web and Usenet and I have seen no mention
of this phenomenon. I have checked the errata sheets on the Microchip
web site and have come up blank (no pun intended).

Has anyone else seen this before ?  If so, can they please reply to this
mailing list with their comments ?
