However someone who is at least tolerant (if not supportive) of the =

is essential for a successful relationship. There is nothing worse than
overcoming a big hurdle in a project and having that feeling deflated =
with a
'so?' or to be ridiculed for enjoying what you do.

True for anything not just engineering
