Wendy A.K.A. Walter Carlos is one of my heroes, and basically I think her/his transgender status is irrelevant to the question of greatness and musicianship. This is a great musician who introduced the world to the obscure technicalities of the synthesizer, an instrument that today is indespensible in many bands but at the time Switched On Back was recorded was oscure and avant guard. -- Lawrence Lile Senior Project Engineer Toastmaster, Inc. Have you ever heard of Walter aka Wendy Carlos, the musician who created the "Switched on Bach" series on the moog synthesizer? A very technical individual who was creating their own computers back when they were 12 years old. "Wendy" Carlos was a transexual with some amazing technical abilities. - Jamie On Tue, 17 Feb 2004, Mike Hord wrote: > Whew.
