>I have the Traxmaker which is also by the same people that make Circuitmaker >( which I just found out) I like it and infact I think the Traxmaker is built >into the Circuitmaker now. But is is a bit pricey. 299.00 is not bad if you >have the Circuitmaker 2000 but is goes up from there to 569.00 and then to >995.00 if you want the PCB part of it also. ...pheew..... Bet ya don't have >that one laying around. LOL The worst part about CM/TM is that Protel offers virtually no support for it. I think the last bug fix was released in 1999 and I don't ever expect them to issue another one. To quote Dr. McCoy, "It's dead, Jim". I'm currently using AutoTRAX (not the old Protel AutoTrax; this is a whole new program). You can download a 100-pin free version at the www.AutoTRAXeda.com site. (A 600-pin "light" version is available for $45 and the unlimited version only costs $95.) The Yahoo group has about 1800 members and is very active. The program's developer posts there quite frequently. Regards, Bob -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways. See http://www.piclist.com/#archives for details.
