It get's used every day for schematic capture and you can also use it for simulating the electronics you have drawn. The simulator will model PIC, 8051, AVR, RTC's, eeproms, LCD's etc... etc. I find it the best for schematic capture and ease of use. I have the PRO version, but there is a lite version available for free download. Not too sure if the lite version does the simulation though.
