        Hello all, just as an update, I converted everything to use the 'f'
functions and now everything is working fine?? This is the second time I've
tried to use the "others", and it's the second time they've failed me! :( Oh
well, it's working perfectly now, thanks to all for the help, especially the
person (can't find the email now) who suggested fflush, that was the last
thing I needed to make it work right. Thanks again. TTYL
