Hi,

I have recently switched to a linux based environment and am looking for the last piece of the puzzle. I am trying to find some programming software that'll support my programmer.

I built my programmer using a schematic I found at http://www.oshonsoft.com/picprog.html (not mine) and it does work properly using that software. Can anyone suggest linux software to drive it (specifically for the 16F627) I have googled for hours but nothing seems to be able to read the device properly.

If the worst comes to the worst, I might have to write my own (something I really don't have time for)
