Can't help you with Malaysian sources (there must be some hobby shops in KL? ) but this is no doubt a result of the infamous counterfeit electrolyte scandal.. the formula for electrolytic cap electrolyte was stolen and copied, but the formula didn't include some vital additives- ones that in low-Z caps stabilize them. You can get replacements from Digikey in the US. Actually, I'm just about to order 10 pieces for a Soyo motherboard that blew up (2 of them burst- "Wendell" brand) 1000uF/6.3V.
