try here http://www.engineeringlab.com/circuitboards.html they're called schmartboards and I just found the website yesterday $5 US a board, lots of good stuff on the website. there is another website if you google for schmartboard you should find it, I cant remember the like but they only do the US customers at the other site, this one is global I believe. Let us all know what they are like if you get some before me. Hi, Has anyone found a method to convert an SSOP-type SMD chip into something a bit more manageable? I've just managed to destroy a Burr-Brown PCM2902 USB audio CODEC by trying to solder it down to a piece of Veroboard with a wiring pen. I did try making up an adapter PCB with a retractable knife and a ruler, but only succeeded in getting the tracks to lift off the board :-( As for etching a PCB - has anyone managed to design an SSOP-to-DIP converter in the form of a PCB? I've just had a quick go with EAGLE and I keep running out of space to route the tracks.
