I've got an emulator, but EPROM erasing fuss puts >me off after so many years with flash and ICSP > >-- I second that, when I started the 705k1 was the most handy chip to use seeing how it CMOS capability to drive things directly and was easily understood by someone with no electronics background. Motorola support sucked($50 for the JW part) and the programming software would not run on the newer pentium chips. Was forced into using 509as as they were the cheapest for my application even though working with JW parts was a downer as far as development went. Can't wait to use them all up and buy the 629s. I still get product with 705s in them and for this work I have to keep a 286 up and running. Wally Barnacle >http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different >ways.
