Could someone send me any working code (please no "it should work" code, what I'm trying *should* work but doesn't) for the 18F series PICs that uses the RE3-instead-of-MCLR fuse and successfully reads a nonzero value from RE3. It's okay if it's 10000 lines long and uses RE3 once, I'm happy to try to figure out what you're doing differently than me. Or, if someone could flash that 5 line test on a PIC (don't even need a crystal, it uses the intrc) and see if it works. No it doesn't need to set TRISE (as one poster said) and no, PORTB.3 being analog doesn't prevent it from being a digital *out*put, but you can set the fuse or other config to verify that doesn't matter, too. I've tried 2 18F2320, the only other one I have is a SOIC which I'd rather not try. -- Ben Jackson http://www.ben.com/ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
