Hi, Does anyone know of the existence of a fairly cheap Linux-compatible USB-to-RS232 converter? I'm doing some smartcard software development with my Wisp628 and a homebrew Smartmouse interface and I've just noticed that this accursed PC only has one serial port (!). Like I said, the cable needs to be Linux compatible, because most of my smartcard testing and eval software is Linux-based. I'd prefer something I could get from a UK source, e.g. Maplin, RS, Farnell, etc. I've found a few nice USB-to-serial converters, but either they're incredibly expensive (GBP 65!) or not Linux compatible.
