P.S. I exclusively used an emulator for development. Motorola was not
interested in selling erasable EPROM parts. Not only were they extremely
expensive but some (PLCC, for example) were not guaranteed to meet
specifications. Instead of paying $100 for one PLCC part for testing
it was cheaper to use up a few $4-5 OTP parts for final testing.
