A year or so ago i remember a post here about Mplab6* relies on a DLL that follows MSIE6. IIRC he solved it by copying that DLL from a Win98* with MSIE6 installed. Try the archives. As you might know Microsoft has dropped support for Win95, and their www-browsers, office suites and probably othe rthings are now incompatible. (But remember that programs from OpenOffice, Mozilla, Opera etc *are* supporting Win95, (and a broad range of OSes) so you computer is still usable with modern applications, just you avoid those from Microsoft) That is a reason we start trying Linux... Will try wine to run MSwindows programs. I guess there is the same issue as above? (depending on an DLL that installs with MSIE?) No? /Morgan Mike W 02:17 2004-01-25: >I've just downlosded the latest MPLAB and at 30mB its quite a >struggle on a dialup connection. However, I wasted my time as it >won't run on windows 95.
