Both of these appear to be support "thin ethernet clients"
(diskless PCs) rather that async serial terminals ("terminal"
being poorly defined, of course.)

An old PC running linux can make a fine 2 to 4 port async terminal
server, but I think for more ports you start running into interrupt
limitations, or the depressing fact that multi-port async cards
cost more than the "old pc" does :-(
