You could find a second hand "terminal server", such as one of the old DECServer line. For dialup you might need a terminal server with full modem control lines. Let's say you have a 8 port server. Modem to one line and the RS232 equipments to the other lines. Setup "services" on the other ports. Then, after dial up, "> connect [service]" where [service] is whatever names you have given the services defined for the other ports. You could also use this server for remote access to any system using telnet. Entering "DECserver" gave 13 hits in eBay...
