Hi All, I'm after a decent (preferably USB) in circuit programmer for PIC's I'm currently using dev boards with the some additional circuitry built in and a parallel lead running a variation of Tait's software, but finding laptops with a parallel port is becoming difficult. I rarely program out of circuit even on final designs and assume others do the same but I am having a hard time finding a programmer with the additional outputs and support circuitry to do this. I guess I could always use a chip programmer and pull off the connections to a lead and program in circuit this way but it seems messy to me. I would prefer a design I could build myself either USB or serial, commercial products can be so expensive :-( Stu -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
