I've noticed several times a number of 'search sites' (at least that's the best I can describe them) that show up in a few google searches. Say I search for some obscure phrase, the top few will be sites that look relevant, but they simply re-list your search with a bunch of ads and a bunch of links to possibly relevant sites (I never go further, so I don't know how relevant they are) I'm really not certian how they mess with Google like that. I suspect when they are spidered they bombard google with lots of terms, and then when google forwards a search they get the referrer URL which has the search terms in it, and they show a different page. Since they don't show up all that often, I suspect they are not very succesful, but I'll bet it's something Google is trying to combat. -Adam Russell McMahon wrote: >More time than sense? >This would be somewhat funny if it wasn't so intrusive. >Google for "this Zack Allan" >Ignore the very few genuine Babylon 5 sites. >Vow to never buy from ANY of these people ever. > >Also perhaps try "once she had recovered her breath" >or even "once she had recovered her breath" "this zack allan" > >I was looking for a recommendation to remove marker ink from a pair of >trousers (cap came off in pocket). >Googling on - ballpoint ink stain removal - I got a vast range of sites >which included ball point ink references and someone recovering their breath >and/or zac allan.
