What I was saying was that the only downside I could see was the download size of 7.4MB of the DiskWizard prgram. That is the full download, there is also a self loading floppy version (2.4) mb, and a Web based version that only downloads what you need. I am favorably impressed with all aspects of the product. I am assuming that the XP Pro is the latest level because I aggressively pursue the Microsoft updates. I had developed the opinion that Seagate was a "has-been" supplier.Nothing could be further from the truth. Instead of making the user make a decision at every step of the instructions, there is a separate set of instructions for each possible install scenario. If you would like to see the Readme file, I have it up at http://home.earthlink.net/~johnferrell/readme.pdf for a few days. I thought it was especially good that rather than just modify the registry for the 137 GB boundry that the software told me and asked permission! It has been my experience that most vendors just do it without telling. I wish all installs went this smooth!
